Nonprofit Marketing & Public Relations – Trinity University, Washington, DC

The course provides an introduction to marketing concepts relevant to nonprofit organizations, focusing on the development and implementation of marketing strategies. It also surveys the major forms of media used in public relations work and examines the role played by media in establishing and maintaining organizational visibility.

I’ll be providing an overview of social media, explaining how it is linked to our current cultural landscape, and giving my Gen Y PR perspective on how non profit professionals can best make use of the channels and tools available to reach their target audiences.
