		<description>I can completely get your perspective. So many people who would identify as black but were neither born nor raised in America immediately become &quot;African-American&quot; in the eyes of others.

It was something that I noticed and just decided to put out there. Glad it resonated with you.</description>

		<description>Thanks for putting this out there. This issue has been driving me crazy for years. As a West Indian I&#039;ve checked &quot;other&quot; far too many times on application forms when African-American is the only option listed for black.</description>
