Twitter’s been a busy little bee, popping up all over the place.

CNN recently featured a piece about doctors live tweeting a surgery where they were attempting to remove a patients tumor without removing the entire kidney.
The mere fact that these surgeons wanted to share their experience online via twitter shows that they were not your average docs, but they took the tech to the next level by organizing their followers/ees and communicating with them via tweetdeck. For that, they deserve a few bonus points. Here’s the CNN segment.
While live tweeting the surgery was great, I was VERY happy to learn that Twitter made an appearance on my favorite game show. None other than (shout it with me): The Price is Right!

From what I understand, the coolest group of people ever to grace the Price is Right audience came to the show sporting t-shirts with their twitter handles.
One lady from the group was lucky enough to hear the three little words that we all seek out at some point in our lives: COME ON DOWN!
When she won a game and made it to the stage, Drew Carey actually gave a good definition of twitter. Here it is:

Not sure about you, but there’s no telling where Twitter will end up next week. Hopefully on ER or the Real World. What do you think? Feel free to weigh in.

That’s so funny about Twitter being on the Price is Right, and yet so fitting…
Does that mean that Drew Carrey has a Twitter account?
Geekazine – I checked around and couldn’t find one. There is “@drewcarey” but it’s not active.
Would love it if he was. There should be a twitter screen on stage to provide suggestions along with the audience.
I’m glad the resident was twittering while the other doctor focused on the surgery
Great post! I think it’s cool how some celebs have twitter accounts. Example: Shaq
